  17. A few folks mentioned that their version of xdvik-18b did not want to
  18. make missing PK files. I tested this version without debugger but with
  19. different values for ``default_texsizes'' (I found xdvi was replacing
  20. and correctly scaling ?? the next bigger size, i.e. if 300pk wasn't
  21. found it took 328/9 and so on), in kpathsea 2.0 and in xdvik-18b. I
  22. worked with the X resource XDvi.maketexpk, I edited ls-R and deleted
  23. some fonts and I even deleted them from disk, I invoked xdvi with
  24. ``+maketexpk'', I made XDVIFONTS point to /tmp; but not a single font
  25. was made.
